Code Of Conduct
Get familiar with the Omega Network’s Code of Conduct to ensure respectful community interaction and proper platform usage.
Omega Network, including its affiliates and subsidiaries such as Omega Network. (collectively referred to as "Omega"), is committed to fostering an inclusive and welcoming environment. Our goal is to create a community that embraces contributors from diverse backgrounds, regardless of gender, sexual orientation, ability, ethnicity, socioeconomic status, or religion (or lack thereof).
Open Culture and Good Citizenship
In addition to ensuring a safe and inclusive environment, this Code of Conduct aims to promote an open culture and good citizenship. We encourage all members to recognize the impact of their actions on the community and to actively contribute to its well-being and growth.
Expected Behavior
All Omega Network community members are expected to:
- Engage Authentically – Participate actively and contribute positively to the community.
- Show Respect – Exercise consideration and respect in speech and actions.
- Prioritize Collaboration – Seek cooperative solutions before engaging in conflict.
- Uphold Integrity – Refrain from any form of discrimination, harassment, or demeaning behavior.
Unacceptable Behavior
The following behaviors are considered unacceptable within the Omega Network community:
- Violence and Threats – Any act or threat of violence, including the use of violent language, is strictly prohibited. Users must not promote, incite, or glorify any violent behavior in any form.
- Discriminatory or Hateful Language – Use of racist, sexist, homophobic, transphobic, ableist, or any form of discriminatory or hateful expression will not be tolerated under any circumstance.
- Explicit or Violent Content – Posting or displaying sexually explicit, pornographic, or graphically violent material is strictly banned. Omega and Omex are safe environments and such content is not allowed.
- Unauthorized Promotional Content – Posting or displaying any kind of promotional, referral, or advertising material unrelated to Omega or Omex is strictly forbidden.
- Only Omega-Related Posts – Omex is an internal community space dedicated solely to the Omega Network. Users are allowed to post only Omega-related updates, discussions, or content. Any unrelated or external material will be removed without notice.
- Doxing and Privacy Violation – Sharing or threatening to share any individual’s private, personal, or identifying information without their explicit consent is a serious offense and may lead to legal action.
- Personal Attacks and Insults – Any form of harassment, personal insult, or derogatory remark towards any individual or group — especially those related to gender, sexual orientation, race, religion, or disability — is prohibited.
- Harassment and Stalking – Engaging in persistent harassment, bullying, intimidation, or stalking (online or offline) is a direct violation and will lead to immediate suspension or permanent ban.
- Encouraging Harmful or Illegal Behavior – Promoting, supporting, or encouraging any form of harmful, illegal, or unethical activity, including those listed above, is strictly prohibited.
- Disruptive or Illegal Conduct – Intentionally disrupting discussions, spreading misinformation, manipulating community systems, or engaging in any illegal or unauthorized activity on the platform is not allowed.
- Spam & Repetitive Content – Posting repetitive, low-value, misleading, or mass-generated content intended to flood the feed or gain unfair visibility is strictly prohibited.
- Unauthorized Promotion or Advertising – Promoting external products, services, religious content, other communities, referral schemes, or any form of self-promotion that is not officially approved or directly related to the platform is strictly prohibited.
- Sensitive or Contact Information Sharing – Sharing personal contact details (including phone numbers, email addresses, wallet keys, private links, or confidential information) is restricted to protect user privacy and platform security.
- Daily Posting Limits – Users must adhere to the platform’s daily post limits. These limits are implemented to maintain feed quality, prevent content saturation, and ensure fair visibility for all members.
- Content Saturation & Topic Dominance – Excessive posting around a single topic, group, or agenda that disrupts platform diversity and balance may be moderated or restricted.
- Moderator Accountability – Moderator accounts are subject to periodic performance reviews based on approved and rejected content records to ensure fair and consistent enforcement of community guidelines.
- Moderation Standards & Rewards – Monthly $OMG incentives may be distributed based on quality moderation performance. Moderators are expected to act impartially, transparently, and in alignment with platform policies.
- Revocation of Moderation Privileges – Moderation access may be suspended, revoked, or reset if an account fails to meet performance standards or violates platform guidelines.
- Policy Enforcement – Violations of content or moderation policies may result in content removal, posting restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent account action depending on severity.
Consequences of Unacceptable Behavior
Unacceptable behavior will not be tolerated in the Omega Network community. If a member engages in such behavior, Omega may take any necessary action, including but not limited to:
- Issuing a warning and requesting immediate compliance.
- Temporarily banning or permanently suspending accounts.
- Removing a user, member, or moderator from the platform.
- Restricting account privileges or imposing additional limitations.
- Removing inappropriate content.
We are committed to ensuring that Omega Network remains a safe and respectful space for all. By adhering to this Code of Conduct, we can create a thriving community where everyone feels valued and included.
